Amazon Marketplace

These are just a few of the hundreds of models I have created for the Amazon marketplace while working at Amazon. Every model was made from the reference images provided on the product page, and most can be viewed in both the 360 view and the "View in my room" augmented reality feature on the mobile app.

For a more complete list of models, see this spreadsheet.

UC Davis

This is a small collection of the models that I have made for the University of California - Davis. These models can be seen in the Xbox360-powered game "Play the Knave", which is on Steam Greenlight, and was featured by the BBC. Links are provided below. Marvelous designer was used heavily for creating the clothing, with low-poly conversion and geo cleanup done in Maya.

Robbins Co.

This projects was made for The Robbins Company to showcase several of the features found in their new remote-controlled tunnel boring machine, such as vacuum-assisted removal of materials from the cutting surface, modular tunnel sections, and the ability to change direction while boring. The model of the machine was provided by Robbins, but required conversion to be usable in Maya. All of the textures are physically-based, the lighting is sun-based global illumination, and involved multiple particle simulations to visualize the rock being excavated. This whole project was performed in less than 1 month, and the animation is over 1200 frames. The images shown are a small portion of the full project.

Chihuly

I approached Chihily Studio for this project, because they were looking for new and creative ways to market their products. I proposed several ideas, from 3D printing miniatures to an immersive environment that would allow the clients to walk around and see how the chandelier would look in their space. I was unaware when making this 100-hour-long proof-of-concept that they would be taking my project with them to London in order to show it to Harrods. The chandelier and environment were modeled from concept images that were provided by the studio. Links to the installation are below.

Cross-fate

This environment was built as a training ground for the squad-based action/visual novel game "Cross-Fate - First Cycle". The game was being produced by my studio (Studio XF8), and was slated for a 2015 release date. Unfortunately, the studio members went their separate ways, and the game was never finished.
