Student Banner

This is the finished product. 47 layers were combined to create this 55.7 x 39.4 inch scrapbook-style poster, which was displayed on the arterial in front of the school. For this project, we asked several of our students to model for our poster. We settled on this student because she fit the age bracket, had reasonable English ability, and worked well with the camera. Total completion for this project was 3 weeks, including 1 week for inquiry.

Proof of Concept

As a proof of concept, I made a variety of quick sketches for the banner. My boss decided on this one, so we went ahead with finding the models.

This is one of many photos taken for the foreground teachers. The final one used in the banner is a compilation of 2 of the photos, taking different arms for the final product, which also incorporated Photoshop's Puppet Warp tool.

This was our model student. We took this photo in one of the classrooms. Unfortunately, the Japanese TOEIC format changed, so rather than trying to get the model in again for another photo shoot, I had to reposition her hands and draw the arms in Photoshop.
